PADI Adventure Dives

The PADI Advanced Course is comprised of 5 Adventure dives – Deep and Navigation plus 3 other elective dives. If you don’t have time to complete the whole course simply take one or two adventure dives now and complete the rest later – gain experience in a new dive environment with your PADI Instructor and complete the theory in your PADI manual.

Adventure dives offered At Yongala dive – Deep, Wreck, Boat, Multi-Level, Enriched Air (Nitrox), Aware Fish ID, Naturalist and Underwater Digital Photography.

Open water divers MUST complete deep dive training as part of the first dive on the Yongala, unless already completed (proof required). To have this dive credited towards the Advanced Course:

  • Complete basic skills on your dive (listed below)
  • Purchase and read the ‘deep dive’ chapter in the PADI Adventures in Diving manual and complete a knowledge review

The underwater skills take approximately 5 mins (designed to advance your dive skills to enable you to dive up to 30 metres), then relax and enjoy the rest of the dive under the guidance of your PADI Instructor.

  • Suiting Up & Predive Safety Check (BWRAF)
  • Entry & Descent
  • Compare depth gauge and Changes in Color at Surface and at Depth
  • Guided Tour then Ascent with Safety Stop
  • Debrief & Knowledge Review, Log Dive, Complete Training Record
  • Approx 45 minutes to read a section in the manual?& complete the knowledge review (nitrox? takes a little longer
